Fatal stabbing reported in the Bronx

The New York City Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing in the Bronx on Monday. The stabbing happened shortly before 8 pm.

According to the NYPD report, a 33-year-old male victim was standing in front of 206 East 167 Street when he became involved in a verbal altercation with an unidentified male individual.

The dispute turned violent when the unidentified male pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln where he was later pronounced dead.

The NYPD has released surveillance footage and images of the individual they are seeking. The suspect is described as a male, between the ages of 18 and 25, approximately 5’8″ to 5’11” tall, and weighing 155 to 160 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white-collar shirt, black vest, black pants, and white sneakers. He then removed his white shirt and black vest and was seen wearing a black t-shirt underneath.
