Police investigating armed robbery at bank ATM in Edgewater

EDGEWATER, MD – A brazen robbery occurred on Saturday, at approximately 9:45 p.m. at the Bank of America ATM located on Solomons Island Road in Edgewater.

The victim was in the process of withdrawing money from the ATM when an unknown suspect approached from behind.

The suspect held a gun to the victim’s head and forced him to withdraw an undisclosed amount of money from his account. Once the money was handed over, the suspect fled the scene, leaving the victim unharmed but shaken.
