Watch: Two young fox pups rescued from shallow well in New York

CLARKSTOWN, NY – wo young foxes found themselves stuck in a shallow well on a homeowner’s property in New City this morning. The concerned homeowner immediately alerted the Clarkstown Police Department (CPD) who quickly responded to the scene. Officers PO Laschet and PO Willows arrived on site and were able to rescue both pups without harm.

The homeowner’s quick thinking and the officers’ prompt response were key to the successful outcome of the situation. The CPD expressed gratitude to everyone involved and commended the officers for their professionalism and bravery.

It is not uncommon for wildlife to wander into residential areas, and the CPD encourages residents to contact them immediately if they encounter any animals in distress. They remind the public to never attempt to handle wildlife themselves as it can be dangerous for both the animal and the person involved.
