Do you know him? Suspect wanted for violent attack on MTA bus driver in NYC’s East Village

NEW YORK, NY – An MTA bus driver was assaulted on Saturday afternoon while operating a westbound M14 bus in the vicinity of East 14th Street and 3rd Ave.

According to police, the 45-year-old male victim was engaged in a dispute with an unknown individual who boarded the bus and punched the driver in the face multiple times before fleeing on a black motorized scooter.

The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in stable condition. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, patterned black pants, and black sneakers.
