Illegal Parking Incident in Boston Leads to Arrest and Firearm Charges

BOSTON, MA – An illegal parking incident resulted in the arrest of two individuals on firearm and traffic charges early Monday morning. Boston Police officers assigned to District B-2 Anti-Crime Unit (Roxbury) observed a vehicle with no front license plate parked in a crosswalk on Columbia Road.

Upon stopping the vehicle, officers noted the occupants immediately exited and walked in different directions.

One of the occupants, identified as Lasana Harper, appeared to have a firearm in his front pocket. A pat-down revealed Harper was carrying two loaded firearms.

He was arrested on multiple firearm-related charges. The driver, Chonn Pressey, was charged with Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
