Suspect Threatens Hilltop Store Clerk During Robbery

COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus Police are actively seeking an unidentified man who threatened to shoot a store clerk during a daring robbery in the Hilltop area of Columbus.

The incident occurred on Friday, at a business located on the 500 block of S. Hague Ave. According to the police report, the suspect stole a significant quantity of cigarettes before being confronted by an employee.

The suspect responded by threatening to shoot the employee, displaying a handgun with an extended magazine tucked into his waistband. He then left the scene in a silver Land Rover SUV, accompanied by a female passenger.

The Columbus Police Robbery Unit is urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward.
