30-year-old shot inside Philadelphia hardware store

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in a Southwest Philadelphia hardware store on Tuesday morning.

The victim, a 30-year-old man, was shot in the lower abdomen inside the store, located on the 5500 block of Chester Avenue. The shooting took place around 10:40 a.m., and the victim was quickly transported to a nearby hospital.

He is currently listed in stable condition. No arrests have been made.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation by calling 215-686-TIPS.
