Brooklyn man arrested for January shooting murder

NEW YORK, NY – Police have arrested and charged Wayne Hill, a 25-year-old male from Brooklyn, with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Reckless Endangerment on Wednesday.

The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into a double shooting in January.

According to police, on January 21, officers responded to a 911 call of shots fired in the vicinity of 1432 East 46 Street in the Flatlands neighborhood of Brooklyn.

The preliminary investigation revealed that two males were shot, with 30-year-old Stephen McBean sustaining a fatal gunshot wound to the torso.

The second victim, a 28-year-old male, sustained a gunshot wound to the right shoulder and was transported to Mount Sinai Brooklyn in stable condition.
