CAMP HILL, PA – On Wednesday, Harrisburg resident Steven J. Murphy was arrested for DUI and endangering the welfare of children in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

The arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred on March 5th, when Lower Allen Township Police officers conducted a traffic stop on Murphy’s vehicle for turning right on red at a “no turn on red” intersection. Two children, ages 2 and 5, were in the vehicle at the time.

During the traffic stop, officers detected the odor of marijuana and evidence of recent use, leading to Murphy’s arrest for DUI. Charges were filed, and an arrest warrant was issued.

Murphy was taken into custody on May 10th, 2023, and is facing charges of endangering the welfare of children.
