Fatal Pedestrian Collision in Oxon Hill Under Investigation

OXON HILL, MD – A fatal pedestrian collision that tragically claimed the life of 29-year-old Kennard Hunter of Suitland on Monday is currently under investigation by the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit.

The accident occurred on the 6000 block of Oxon Hill Road, a bustling section of the city known for its heavy traffic.

The driver involved in the accident, whose name has not been released, remained on the scene following the collision.

The drive is cooperating with investigators.

The department is appealing for any witnesses to come forward and provide any information they may have about the incident. The Prince George’s County Police Department is urging anyone with information to contact them.
