Double Homicide Investigation in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD – On Friday, May 5, officers arrived at the scene of a shooting in Annapolis To discover a fatal incident involving three individuals. The incident took place around 2:00 p.m., in the parking lot of the 2100 block of Somerville Road.

The suspect, identified as George Edward Huff, 42, of Riva, reportedly shot a male and a female before turning the gun on himself. The female victim, Alexandra Abbott Huff, 34, also of Riva, and the suspect were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The male victim, George Michael Petrullo, 38, of Annapolis, managed to flee to a nearby shopping center but later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

Annapolis Homicide Detectives are actively investigating the incident and encourage anyone with information to contact them or the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line.

At present, there is no information regarding a motive for the incident.
