Paterson Man Hospitalized in Broad Daylight Shooting Incident

PATERSON, NJ – On Wednesday afternoon, a 29-year-old resident of Paterson was shot and subsequently hospitalized. The incident occurred around 2:19 p.m. in the vicinity of Memorial Drive and Ellison Street, as confirmed by the local police.

Upon their arrival at the scene, officers found the man nursing a non-fatal gunshot wound. As part of the emergency response, the injured man was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for further treatment.

The Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit, responsible for investigating shootings in the area, is actively working on this case.
