Police make arrest in murder of New Jersey woman killed in 2013

CAMDEN, NJ – On Thursday, charges were filed against Joseph Grisoff, 59, of Mount Laurel, in connection to the 2013 death of Carol Reiff. Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins announced the development in this case.

Grisoff, a maintenance worker who lived near Reiff’s apartment, was charged with first-degree murder. Investigators had recovered potential DNA evidence from Reiff’s apartment back in 2013, which recent advancements in DNA testing have connected to Grisoff.

Grisoff was arrested in Moorestown by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and is currently held at the Camden County Correctional Facility. A detention hearing will be scheduled for a future date in Superior Court in Camden.
