21-Year-Old Woman Charged in Murder of 1-Year-Old In Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – 1-year-old Nyemia Gillard was murdered on October 4th, and police have now made an arrest in the case. 21-year-old Aurielle Montgomery of Baltimore was arrested Thursday morning at the 500 block of Rocklyn Avenue in Baltimore County.

Montgomery was charged with 1st-degree murder. Police believe that Montgomery murdered 1-year-old Nyemia Gilliard on October 4th.

A report of an unresponsive baby led police to the 2700 Block of Ellicott Driveway in Southwest Baltimore shortly after 12 pm. After all attempts failed, the baby was pronounced dead at the scene.

On October 18th, the baby’s death was ruled as a homicide caused by “multiple signs of trauma.”
