D.C. Shooting Claims Life Of 30-Year-Old Man

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A shooting in Southeast, D.C. on Thursday evening has claimed the life of a 30-year-old man. Detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department are investigating.

Just before 8 pm, officers arrived at the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting. At the location, police found the gunshot victim. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

 30-year-old Devonte Maxwell, of Northwest, D.C., was identified as the victim.
