Police investigating armed robbery at Brooklyn Hotel

BROOKLYN, MD – A robbery was reported on Thursday at around 10:30 p.m. at a hotel in Brooklyn, MD.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the incident and found out that the suspect entered the hotel lobby, demanded money while holding a handgun, and then struck the victim on the side of their head with the weapon. The suspect took the cash register and fled the scene through the front door.

The police department’s robbery detectives are currently investigating the incident and are asking the public to come forward with any information that may help identify the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black shirt and black pants, armed with a handgun.
