Stabbing leaves one man dead in the Bronx overnight

A stabbing incident was reported early Saturday morning in the Bronx as police responded to a stabbing at 1650 Grand Concourse.

At around 2:00 AM, officers from the 44th Precinct arrived at the scene to find an unidentified male with serious injuries to his torso.

The victim was rushed to Bronx Health System, also known as Bronx Lebanon Hospital, but was pronounced dead by hospital staff upon arrival. The incident is being investigated as a homicide.

As of now, police have made no arrests in connection with the crime. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to gather more information about the incident.

The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of their family.
