NYPD continues investigating brutal April assault and robbery

Police are investigating an assault that took place on Wednesday, April 26, at approximately 4:00 PM, in the area of Cypress Avenue and East 138 Street in New York City.

According to police, a 31-year-old male was walking along the street when three unknown individuals approached him.

The attackers punched the victim multiple times and took his hat before fleeing the scene on foot, heading southbound. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
