Fatal Shooting In D.C. Leaves 64-Year-Old Man Dead

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 64-year-old man yesterday afternoon in Southwest D.C.

Shortly after 4 pm, officers arrived at the 3900 block of Martin Luther King Junior Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

64-year-old Christopher Callahan of Southeast, D.C. was identified as the victim.
