Jury Returns Guilty Verdict for Aggravated Assault in Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – On Thursday, a Cumberland County jury found Jonah Williamson guilty on one count of Aggravated Assault – Causing Serious Bodily Injury and one count of Recklessly Endangering Another Person. The charges stem from a stabbing incident at the Rodeway Inn in Wormleysburg on December 17, 2021.

The defendant had a physical altercation with his girlfriend during which he stabbed her multiple times in the neck, arm, and hand. The victim was rushed to Holy Spirit Hospital due to severe injuries. The sentencing is scheduled for Tuesday, July 25, 2023, before Judge Peck.
