Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure in Plainfield Township

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA – A resident, Todd W. Winterton, was taken into custody by Slate Belt Regional Police on Saturday, following an incident of indecent exposure. Officers responded to a disturbance call at Short Rd. in Plainfield Township at approximately 7:11 pm.

A resident reported to the police that Winterton was standing naked in his open doorway, exposing himself while the resident was playing outside with his juvenile granddaughter.

Video footage obtained by the police confirmed the resident’s account, showing Winterton in the nude. Following his arrest, Winterton was transported to the Northampton County Booking Center. He was arraigned on charges of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct and is currently held at the Northampton County Prison on a State Parole “detainer”.

Slate Belt Regional Police encourage anyone with further information regarding this incident to come forward.
