NYPD investigating multiple connected robberies in Midtown Manhattan

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying individuals involved in a citywide robbery pattern across the Midtown South Precinct, 40th Precinct, and 60 Precinct.

The first incident occurred on Wednesday, May 3, at approximately 10 pm at 749 East 133 Street. Four individuals allegedly entered an unattended 2011 Black Mercedes, license plate KWX7341, and fled in an unknown direction.

The second incident took place on Friday, May 5, just past midnight, in front of 302 West 21 Street. A 66-year-old male was reportedly assaulted by four individuals who then stole his iPhone 6 and wallet. The victim sustained lacerations to his left hand but refused medical attention.

The third incident was reported on Friday, May 5023, at 3:24 am, inside 584 8th Avenue. An employee was reportedly threatened by an individual simulating a firearm while others removed smoking paraphernalia from behind the counter. Three individuals fled the location, while one was arrested.
