26-year-old shot on South Rose Street Tuesday night

BALTIMORE, MD – Police are investigating a shooting that sent a young man to the hospital Tuesday night.

At around 8:38 p.m., police officers from the Southeast district were alerted to gunshots in the vicinity of the 400 block of South Rose Street. They also received a ShotSpotter alert for the 400 block of North Rose Street.

Upon reaching the scene, the officers discovered a 26-year-old male who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his arm. The victim fled to the 200 block of North Belnord Street on foot, where he was attended to by medics and transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.

The investigation into the incident was taken over by the Southeast District Shooting detectives.
