CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ – Michael Venditti, a 38-year-old resident of Camden County, admitted his role in a methamphetamine distribution scheme, according to U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger. Venditti pled guilty to conspiring to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, as stated in Camden federal court on Monday.

Sherri Craig, a 42-year-old woman from Clementon, was previously sentenced on April 20, 2023, to a decade in prison and four years of supervised release for her involvement in the same conspiracy.

Court documents and statements revealed that Venditti oversaw an operation from March to September 2021, wherein he received parcels through the U.S. Postal Service containing over 100 pounds of methamphetamine. He then distributed the drugs to Craig and others, including Shannon Foster who also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

On September 20, 2021, law enforcement officials discovered approximately eight pounds of methamphetamine, around $29,000 in cash, scales, and other drug paraphernalia during a search at a Camden residence where Venditti, Craig, and Foster were present.

Venditti’s sentencing is scheduled for September 19, 2023. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years, a potential life sentence, and a maximum fine of $10 million.
