Philadelphia Man Sentenced for Role in Salem County Bank Robbery

Bank robbery of the century, robbers hacked vault

CAMDEN, NJ – Kenneth S. Thompson, a 44-year-old man from Philadelphia, was sentenced to 77 months in prison and three years of supervised release on Monday. Thompson served as the getaway driver for two individuals who robbed a bank in Carneys Point, New Jersey, in July 2018.

He pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Joseph H. Rodriguez to bank robbery charges on September 27, 2022, in Camden federal court.
