MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police are investigating a robbery that transpired on Sunday, May 7.
Surveillance footage of the suspects has been released, and detectives are requesting the public’s assistance to identify them.
The initial findings indicate that two individuals entered a restaurant on the 11200 block of New Hampshire Avenue. Displaying a firearm, they vaulted the front counter and directed employees to the rear of the establishment.
One of the suspects then led an employee to the safes. After securing an undisclosed sum of money from the first safe, the suspects struck the victim with a hand and the gun when the second safe couldn’t be opened.
The suspects subsequently departed in a red Mitsubishi Lancer. The suspects are both Black males. One suspect wore all-black clothing, gray shoes, and a mask and had dreadlocks.
The second suspect was attired in black pants, a dark green jacket, a pink baseball hat, and a mask. The description of the individual driving the red Mitsubishi Lancer remains unknown.
