Mail Carrier Robbed at Gunpoint in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD – On Monday, Northern District detectives began an investigation into a robbery that occurred around 12:30 pm in the 7800 block of Bruton Court, Glen Burnie. A United States Postal Service mail carrier was reportedly approached by a male suspect who brandished a handgun and demanded the mailbox key.

Following the exchange, the suspect fled on foot.

The detectives are actively seeking any information about a black male, possibly in his 20s, last seen wearing a face mask, white t-shirt, and baggy jeans.
