Suspect Sought in Wilmington 7-Eleven Robbery

WILMINGTON, DE – Delaware State Police are in the process of identifying a suspect believed to be involved in the robbery of a 7-Eleven store in the Wilmington area on May 6, 2023. The suspect, who was caught on surveillance footage, threatened the cashier with a firearm before proceeding to steal cash from the register and a selection of tobacco products from behind the counter. He then fled the scene on foot, disappearing into the night.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, standing approximately 5’08” to 5’09” tall, and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark jeans, and a mask. The firearm used in the robbery was black and small, possibly a semi-automatic handgun.
