Arrest Made in Bronx attempted murder investigation

BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department has reported an arrest in connection with an assault that occurred on Friday, around 1:40 pm. The arrested individual, Myles Cosom, a 23-year-old male residing at 1075 University Avenue, Bronx, NY, has been charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal use of a firearm, and criminal possession of a firearm.

The incident involved the shooting of a 21-year-old male victim in the back at 1406 Merriam Avenue. The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
