NYC Teenager Victim of Daylight Robbery, Police Seeking Suspects

NEW YORK, NY – The NYPD is seeking public help in identifying the culprits of a recent incident of broad daylight robbery, who were captured in media shared by the department.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, at approximately 3:20 pm. The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was walking opposite 730 Concourse Village West when four unknown individuals engaged him in a dispute. The situation rapidly escalated, with the group assaulting the boy and forcibly taking his backpack. The group then fled northbound on Concourse Village in a black two-door Ford Mustang with New Jersey temporary registration 501300T.

The boy sustained minor injuries from the assault but refused medical attention at the scene. The NYPD is keen on apprehending the culprits and urges anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
