12-Year-Old Girl Located Safe after Large-Scale Search in Wall Township

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – A large-scale search involving multiple agencies ended successfully last Wednesday evening when a twelve-year-old girl was found safe.

The Wall Township Police Department was contacted at around 6 pm by the girl’s parents who reported their daughter missing from her home off Carmerville Rd.

The girl was not found at the residence leading the police to initiate an extensive search in the neighboring wooded area extending to Allaire State Park.

Wall Township Police, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, and Howell Township Police used drones in the search. K-9 teams were deployed from the Wall Township Police, Monmouth County Sheriff’s, New Jersey Parks Police, and New Jersey Department of Corrections. The New Jersey State Police Aviation unit also assisted with a helicopter. The girl was located, unharmed, by the police at around 10:15pm, and was reunited with her family.
