NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Monday, at around 1:25 pm, a 19-year-old woman was exiting the West 59 Street and Columbus Circle station when she was bumped by an unknown man descending the stairs.

A verbal dispute between the two resulted in the man pushing the woman, causing her imbalance. He then proceeded to inappropriately touch the victim’s left breast before continuing into the station and boarding a northbound C train.

The victim was physically uninjured.

The New York City Police Department provided a description of the man, who stands approximately 5’8″ tall and weighs around 190 pounds. He has a light complexion, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue hat, a green polo shirt, and dark pants. He was also carrying a black backpack and a brown shopping bag over his left shoulder.

A surveillance image, taken from the location, was attached to aid the public in recognizing the man. Those with information are encouraged to reach out to the New York City Police Department.
