75-year-old Man beaten, slashed and Stabbed in Bronx Attack

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Monday, May 8, at around 6:25 am, a 75-year-old man was assaulted in front of 918 Freeman Street in the Bronx.

The man found himself involved in a dispute with an unidentified individual, who proceeded to kick him to the ground, slash his face, and stab his back.

The attacker fled the scene on foot, escaping into the Freeman Street train station.

The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in a stable condition. The attacker is described as a male, approximately 25 to 35 years old, with a medium complexion, about 6’ tall, and a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket with white stripes, gray pants, and white sneakers.

The New York City Police Department urges anyone with information about the attacker to contact them immediately.
