Brooklyn Shooting Leaves 59-year-old Man Dead

NYPD crime scene investigative unit.

BROOKLYN, NY – On Thursday, at around 4:05 pm, police responded to a reported shooting incident at 33 Saratoga Avenue in Brooklyn.

The police were notified by multiple 911 calls, reporting a person had been shot at that location.

Upon their arrival, police found a 59-year-old man, Pernell Webster, with gunshot wounds to the arm and torso within the 13th floor.

Emergency Medical Services responded promptly and transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests have been made thus far, and the investigation continues. 73rd Precinct detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward.
