Delaware State Police Investigate Armed Robbery of Delivery Truck

BEAR, DELAWARE – The Delaware State Police are looking into an armed robbery that happened in Bear on Wednesday. At around 8:38 p.m., officers were called to a Wawa at 3601 Wrangle Hill Road, following reports of an armed robbery.

Upon arrival, the police learned that four suspects had confronted a 37-year-old male victim unloading products from a parked tractor-trailer next to the store.

The suspects, all described as black males, displayed firearms before removing cartons of cigarettes from the trailer. During the robbery, a 28-year-old assistant to the driver approached the truck and was also threatened by the suspects.

After the incident, the suspects fled the scene in two separate dark-colored sedans. No injuries were reported.
