Juvenile injured in Hit and Run in New cumberland

NEW CUMBERLAND, PA – The New Cumberland Police Department responded to a hit-and-run accident on Friday, at approximately 07:50 at the intersection of Fifteenth Street and Brandt Avenue.

An unknown female driving a gray sedan, with two children in the back seat, struck a juvenile cyclist. The cyclist had stopped at the intersection before proceeding to cross. After the collision, the driver fled the scene without checking on the juvenile or reporting the incident to police.

The juvenile sustained minor injuries. The police are currently checking nearby cameras as part of the ongoing investigation. The suspect is described as a white woman with brownish/blonde hair, estimated to be in her 30s.
