NYPD investigating Assault on NYC subway train in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – Police in Brooklyn are continuing their search for an assault suspect wanted for an unprovoked attack aboard a New York City subway train..

The assault, reported on Monday, May 1, and happened around 1:10 pm on a southbound ‘4’ train nearing Nevins Street station.

A 24-year-old male victim reported an unknown male approached and struck him multiple times in the face, breaking his eyeglasses.

The attacker exited the train and fled on foot. The victim was taken to The Brooklyn Hospital Center, treated for a fractured nose and cracked sinus bone.
