Young man shot and killed Thursday in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A man in his 20s was injured in a shooting incident near the dead end of Flint Street on Thursday morning. The Rochester Police Department has reported that the victim, who was shot in the upper body, was rushed into surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital. The injuries sustained are not considered life-threatening.

No arrests have been announced at this time.

The incident is still under investigation. The Rochester Police Department is requesting anyone with information to call 911.
