PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VIRGINIA – A 63-year-old woman was discovered shot to death in the kitchen of her home on Sunday afternoon, leading to the arrest of a Manassas man who is now facing murder charges.

The Prince William County Police Department responded to a death report just before 4:30 p.m. at a residence located in the 7900 block of Minor Hill Road in Manassas. When police arrived, they found the 63-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Based on preliminary investigations, police revealed that the victim had engaged in an altercation with another tenant of the house, identified as 61-year-old Roger Allen Foote, Jr.

During the course of the argument, Foote allegedly shot the woman, resulting in her fatal injuries. Fairfax County police took Foote into custody earlier today. He has been charged with murder and is presently held without bond pending further legal proceedings.
