Police seeking Diner wallet thief

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking information on an individual believed to be involved in a grand larceny incident last week.

The incident took place on May 16, at approximately 9:10 pm at a diner located at 5014 3 Avenue. The unidentified individual is reported to have removed a wallet from the rear pocket of a 37-year-old male diner patron. The wallet reportedly contained $1000.

The suspect then left the premises on foot.

NYPD encourages anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
