D.C. armed robbers caught on camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police detectives are asking for help finding suspects and a vehicle connected to an Armed Robbery that took place on Monday night in Northwest, D.C.

Shortly before midnight, the culprits approached the individual at the 3500 Block of 16th Street. They displayed firearms and forcefully requested the victim to hand over their belongings. The victim complied with their demands. The suspects then departed from the scene in a getaway vehicle.

A surveillance camera captured the vehicle. Police describe the vehicle as a “2012 white 4-door Toyota Camry. It was last seen bearing a Maryland tag of 2EW1653.”
