Fugitive Sought in Multiple Philadelphia Shooting Incidents

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is seeking public assistance in locating 19-year-old Brian Amerman. Amerman has an active warrant for probation violation from an arrest in 2022 related to simple assault, REAP, and resisting arrest. Additionally, he has been named a person of interest in several recent incidents.

The city has experienced several shooting incidents over the past week, leading to multiple individuals in critical condition. These include incidents on Amber Street and Roosevelt Boulevard that took place on Sunday, and Wednesday, May 17, 2023, respectively.

In addition, there have been robbery incidents on Roosevelt Boulevard on Friday, May 12, 2023, and Wednesday, May 17.
