Teen Shot Near Corner Store in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY – Syracuse Police Department officers responded to a shooting incident near a North Side corner store at 10:40 p.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, they found an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his lower leg outside the Union Place Market, located at 412 Union Place.

The teen was transported to Upstate University Hospital for treatment. His injuries, while significant, are not expected to be life-threatening. The Syracuse Police Department continues its investigation and encourages anyone with information to call them at (315) 442-5222.
