Two teens charged for shooting in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA – A 17-year-old male fell victim to a shooting on the 200 block of Elmore St., Zone 2, on Monday. The Pittsburgh Police Department reports that the shooting occurred around 4:20 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound in his ankle. He was transported to a local hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.

Witnesses reported seeing two juvenile males fleeing the scene. Both males, aged 15 and 17, were apprehended and found to be carrying firearms. They are facing charges of Unlicensed Carry and Minor in Possession of a Firearm.

The Allegheny County Police and Pittsburgh Police continue to investigate the shooting incident.

The names of the juveniles have not been released.
