D.C. Police Arrest 15-year-old who shot at Victim in Car

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest of an individual in connection with a shooting that took place on Monday afternoon in Southeast, D.C.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 4:17 pm when the suspect approached the victim, who was situated inside their vehicle at the 1400 block of Bruce Place. The suspect allegedly displayed a handgun and proceeded to fire at the victim, and struck the victim’s vehicle.

Responding officers were able to apprehend the suspect. Additionally, law enforcement officers successfully recovered the handgun believed to be used in the offense.

A 15-year-old juvenile male from D.C. was arrested and charged on Monday and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Carrying a Pistol Without a License.
