D.C. police search for Armed Robber caught on camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Washington, D.C. Metro Police Detectives are asking for help locating a suspect involved in an Armed Robbery that took place on Sunday afternoon at the 4500 Block of Benning Road in Northeast, D.C.

Shortly after 2 pm, the victim was confronted by the suspect at the specified location. Displaying a handgun, the suspect proceeded to assault the victim. In the course of the altercation, the suspect forcibly obtained the victim’s belongings before leaving the scene.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect.
