Man Sought in Connection with NYC Subway Assault

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department requests public assistance in locating a man involved in an assault that occurred on Friday, May 19, 2023, within the 108 Precinct, Transit District 20.

The assault took place on a Manhattan bound E train, where the man punched a 69-year-old female passenger once in the head before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to New York- Presbyterian Queens Hospital in stable condition. The suspect is described as a 30 to 40-year-old male of light complexion, around 6′ tall, with a slim build.
