Man Arrested in Connection to PNC Bank Robbery

WOODBINE, MD – Police arrested Leighton Scott Lear, a 26-year-old from Linthicum Heights, on charges of robbery and theft related to an April 3 incident.

An employee of the PNC Bank in the 15900 block of Frederick Road in Woodbine reported that a male suspect with his face partially covered had demanded cash from the counter. After receiving the money, the suspect fled the scene. Through further investigation, police were able to identify and arrest Lear on Friday.
