HARRISBURG, PA – Hector Rivera, 52, has been recently sentenced to serve 33 and ½ to 69 years in prison following his conviction on 15 charges, including human trafficking, by the Berks County Court. As part of his sentencing, Rivera is required to register as a tier one sex offender.

The sentencing follows an investigation by the Office of Attorney General and the Pennsylvania State Police which revealed Rivera’s pattern of preying on a vulnerable young woman, luring her with drugs, and threatening her with violence.

The investigation also uncovered that Rivera forced the young woman to perform sexual acts for him and other men in exchange for drugs and money.
