SUITLAND, MD – A 23-year-old man, Bennie Maye Jr., was found dead in Suitland on Friday evening. The Prince George’s County Police Department reports that they are working on identifying and arresting the individual or individuals responsible for the crime.
Last Friday, around 10:05 pm, officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 4400 block of Telfair Boulevard. Here, they found Maye suffering from unidentified trauma and pronounced him deceased at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled to establish the exact cause of death.
Detectives of the Prince George’s County Police Department do not believe this to be a random crime at this stage of their investigation. They are asking anyone with information pertinent to this case to contact them at 301-516-2512.
